Welcome to 2011 CE/AD, as this is my first post for the year. This particular analysis has been in my mind for some months now. There are detailed analysis can be found http://bit.ly/gHjhWt & good amount of posts in hosts of other sites. I just wanted to highlight few points from the MHA report
1. In 2007-08 the amount received through Foreign funds reported to MHA is 9663.64 Cr.
2. Of the Top 10 recipients except Shri Gajanam Maharaj Sansthan, Maharashtra & Mata Amritanandmayi Math, Kerala rest are all Christian Missionaries in different names.
3. Top 3 expenses reported by the recipients was 'Establishment Expenses'-35%, 'Rural Development'-18% & ' 'Relief/Rehabilitation of victims of natural calamities'-17% - So almost 1/3rd of the money is used to buy property, build buildings and other establishment expenses. Rural Development & Relief work is just conversion in the rural areas.
4.Rest of the works mentioned in the Top15 purposes are children Welfare, including Maintenance of priests/ preachers/other religious functionaries.- Hence only 35% of the money is spent on more than 12 purposes.
5. The MHA report mentios of Donor Country Purpose wise detailsfor 2007-08, Out of 63 Purposes mentioned the top purpose mentioned is quite surprisingly 'Activities other than those mentioned below'-15% of the funds & the bottom purpose is 'Welfare of SC/ST'-.25%
6.The MHA report mentions that total of 18,796 organisations have reported to them, out of which the following table will throw light on their Capitalization.
This table illustrates from 2001-2008, except for 2007-2008 there has been a steady increase in No. of Associations. The reduction during 2007-08, can be attributed to the recession in general.
7. The inflows pattern for 10 yr period is as per given table.
If one notes the pattern during the NDA period the fund flow increase was in the range of 1.17% - 15.56%, but from 2004 there seems a sudden increase of fund flow. Was there any specific reason for the sudden fund flow during the UPA period.
Though we are all aware of the onslaught of the Chritian Economic Aggression, there is a renewed agenda of Vatican to subdue our Native culture, which has always courageously withstood the onslaught. Their claims to help the Tribals is all farce.

Thanks for the expose Sir. Yes, large scale Christian proliferation is taking place side by side with Muslims as well. A cursory glance around the general architecture of a city, town or village will show the overwhelming increase in Churches and Mosques around you as against Temples. That there is a nexus between Center/State/Minority Religious Houses is definite when you observe that there is no law, yet, to audit or check the vast inflow of funds into these institutions.
ReplyDeleteWhile the Temple and its resources are controlled by State/Devosom Boards, there is no such governing body controlling Christian / Muslim Funds. There is no check and balance on the source of their mounting funds as well. Not an eyebrow from the law is raised on the source of income when Churches/Mosques are built around strategic locations and when mass land at vital localities are acquired. No investigation is conducted at the mushrooming number of Christian and Muslim institutions springing every day. Whereas, all Temple funds are controlled by the State and its appointed Devasom Board.
Why should a Bishop House be given diplomatic status? Why should a Mosque be outside the purview of security cordon? Why should a Temple be contrary to any of these privileges? Why should just a mere 18% population's religious preferences enjoy untold privileges while the overwhelming Majority 82% population's religious preferences are demonised? Why should Temple funds be utilized for Hajj subsidies and other developmental projects other than Temple maintenance while none of the Minority funds are utilized for anything except building Churches, Mosques, Orphanages, Charity Homes, Schools, Colleges and predominantly Conversion Homes. Large scale funds are spent to span their religious dogma to that section of the vulnerable society that is impoverished.
Unless the Hindus themselves wake up to this reality they will sooner than later find themselves engulfed amidst a mere 18% population who not only openly criticize the Majority beliefs, but also openly rebuke their practices too!
Thanks for an eye opening post.
great expose !!! it is important to note in 2006 it almost doubled. do u have any data on pre nda period ? just to see whether it lessened during nda ?
ReplyDeleteExcellent analysis of foreign funding of Christian missionaries intended purely for proselytization. Does "Activities other than those mentioned below" in the spreadsheet refer to "funding for conversions"?
